e-Crime bureau, a cybersecurity and investigations firm in Accra launched its 10th anniversary in a colorful event at the Alisa Hotels in Accra on Thursday, the 16h of September, 2021. The celebration is themed “Celebrating 10 Years of Cyber Security Excellence”
The company which has been in existence since 2011 is a leader in the cyber security industry in the West African sub region. It was founded by Dr. Albert Antwi Boasiako, who is currently serving as the National Cybersecurity Advisor, responsible for overseeing the development of Ghana’s cybersecurity through the implementation of Ghana’s National Cybersecurity Policy & Strategy, working with both public and private sector stakeholders.
e-Crime bureau is the first organisation with a state-of-the-art e-crime lab to be established and operated in West Africa. The company provides cyber security related services and solutions to both private and public sector organizations as well as international organizations.
Key clients of the bureau include, the Ghana Revenue Authority GRA, GoldFields Ghana, SSNIT, Goil, NPA, WAEC, Securities and Exchange Commission and many more.
The company has won several awards including the Cyber Security Company of the Year for three consecutive years (2018, 2019 & 2020) at the coveted Ghana Information Technology & Telecommunications Awards (GITTA) and the Cyber/Anti Fraud Company of the Year at the Mobex Innovation Awards, 2019.
